Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Hire – Terms and Conditions

By renting a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) chamber from Applied Technology, under the brand name Oxygens, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Medical Advice and Contraindications
   Users must seek approval from a licensed medical professional before using the HBOT chamber. It is essential that all users are deemed medically suitable for hyperbaric therapy by a healthcare provider. If you have any contraindications, such as, but not limited to, pregnancy, uncontrolled asthma, or certain cardiovascular conditions, you should not use the HBOT chamber. A list of contraindications will be provided during the installation and must be strictly followed.

2. User Training
   All individuals who will be using the HBOT chamber are required to complete a training session upon installation. This training will cover the safe operation of the chamber, safety procedures, and emergency protocols. Failure to complete the required training may result in suspension or termination of the hire agreement.

3. Safe Use of the Chamber

4. The HBOT chamber should only be used by individuals who have completed the required training and have received medical clearance. Users must adhere to all operational guidelines and safety instructions. The chamber is to be used strictly for its intended purpose, and no unauthorized modifications or alterations may be made to the equipment.

5. Maintenance and Care
   It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the chamber is maintained in good working condition throughout the rental period. The chamber should be kept clean and handled with care. Any damage or malfunction must be reported to Applied Technology immediately. The hirer will be responsible for any costs associated with repairs due to misuse or neglect.

6. Liability
   Applied Technology will not be held liable for any injuries, health issues, or damages that may arise from improper use of the HBOT chamber. The hirer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Applied Technology from any claims, damages, or losses related to the use or misuse of the equipment.

7. Insurance
   The hirer is required to maintain adequate insurance coverage for the duration of the hire period, covering any damage, theft, or injury associated with the use of the HBOT chamber.

8. Rental Period and Payment
   The rental period and associated charges will be outlined in the rental agreement. Payments must be made as per the agreed schedule. Late payments may incur additional charges.

9. Termination of Hire
   Applied Technology reserves the right to terminate the hire agreement at any time if the hirer or user fails to comply with these terms and conditions. In such cases, the chamber must be returned immediately, and any outstanding rental fees will remain payable.

10. Confidentiality
    Any personal information provided during the rental process will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the rental agreement. Applied Technology will not share your information with third parties unless required by law.

11. Modification of Terms
    Applied Technology reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Notice of any changes will be provided to the hirer, and the updated terms will apply to any ongoing rental agreements.
